While rivaling Syndicates may rule the show and the ISSP's hold on the solar system is crumbling, there are more than a total of 300 Thousand Bounty hunters in the universe that are willing to catch its outlaws. The numbers are growing, and competition is fierce. But in the end, who will finally catch the legendary Cowboy Bebop?

Ace Holiday, a cocky boxer and sharp-shooting prison escapee with a hefty bounty. "Ma" ling, an elderly widow of a Syndicate boss who knows her connections as well as her poisons. Spud Schweitzer, a six-year-old repairman armed with a wicked expertise in mechanics. And Bones, a large white Labrador who can't tell the difference between cats and dog food.They are the Bebop four, fighting for survival, striving off black-market antiques and information bazaars and pirating any foe who gets in their way. But among vengeful syndicates, money hungry Bounty Hunters and Rude police officials on their tail, there are always a happy crowd of unusual friends high and low to aid them.

Yet, a fifth member of the Bebop joins their misadventures, a change that could be the most valuable and riskiest decision the crew has ever faced. His name is "Rusty" Wilcox, an anonymous young man living in a future all too strange to him. To the Bebop, Rusty is unwittingly a manifestation of every person's past--a ghost that could compromise everything that the Bebop has built...including their survival.
